Hot Water System Repairs in Perth

Not every hot water fault means a new system. We diagnose the actual failure first, then tell you plainly whether a repair is worth doing.

In short: Many hot water faults are repairable: relief valves, thermostats, elements, anodes and ignition components. A leaking tank body is not — that is a replacement.

Common faults we repair

  • Constant discharge from the relief valve
  • Failed thermostat or heating element on electric storage
  • Pilot or ignition faults on gas systems
  • Leaking connections, unions and isolation valves
  • Sacrificial anode replacement on serviceable tanks
  • Fluctuating temperature caused by a failed tempering valve

When repair is not the right answer

If the tank itself is corroded and weeping, no repair will hold. If the system is well past its service life and the repair cost approaches a meaningful share of a new installation, we will say so rather than take the smaller job twice.

How we approach a callout

Diagnose the fault, explain what has failed, give you the repair cost and the replacement alternative, and let you decide with the numbers in front of you.
