Whole-house filtration

Whole-House Water Filtration in Perth

If chlorine or sediment is noticeable in showers as well as at the kitchen tap, filtration at the main is the option that treats the whole house at once.

In short: A whole-house system is plumbed into the incoming water main so filtered water reaches every outlet in the home, most commonly targeting sediment and chlorine taste and odour.

Where the system goes

The housing is installed at the incoming main, usually near the meter or where the supply enters the property, with isolation either side so cartridges can be changed without shutting down the whole house.

What to expect

  • Filtered water at every tap, shower and appliance
  • A small, expected pressure loss across the filter housing
  • Scheduled cartridge changes based on litres treated
  • Bypass or isolation for straightforward servicing

Sizing and flow

The housing and cartridge must suit the flow rate of the property. An undersized filter causes noticeable pressure drop when multiple outlets run; we size for the home rather than fitting a single standard unit everywhere.
